Also, they should be reminded that each scenario, emotion & related aspects would be unique & need specific capabilities to deal with. Ultimately they should be able to replace their actual reactions with these positive coping strategies against each stressor.
This step is more like an ongoing activity. An educator must gather feedback & sharing of experiences on a periodic basis when students apply their coping skills. This window should also grant them the opportunity to seek advice from their peers. Here, educators also have to keep an informal check & extend their added support to students who need it the most.
Coping skill is a strong tool for students to build resilience, self-awareness & self-governance. Learning the art of developing their coping skill is the greatest gift for any student. These skills will surely help them in the long-term.
