Ivy League Academy celebrated its 30th Founder’s Day on 7th Jan 2018. Mr. K.S Venugopal (Rear Admiral) was the guest of honor.
Prizes by the chief guest for academics and co-curricular were handed out. Satpura (yellow) house was declared as the best house.
Followed by the prize distribution there were a series of various talents showcased by the students. Children displayed talents that they have acquired in the school over the last 12 months.
Mr.Krishna, the dance teacher presented three dances performed by students of different age groups. Students from 5th class gave a scintillating display of their talent. The music department didn’t lag behind; the rock group of Ivy League churned out songs in English, French and Spanish. Apart from the same a number of songs were sung in Hindi as well.
Mr.Pranabh Mukherjee a noted theater director who has been visiting Ivy League year after year presented a very interesting and thought provoking play on Chanakya and how his arthashastra would have tackled todays problem.
The Hindi department came up with a rib tickling comedy (Bhole ki Aatma). Not to be left behind, the primary students performed the old classic “Hansel and Gretel" where in every primary student came on stage displaying their talent.
The Founder’s Day is a culmination in the school calendar of the cultural activities. Students practice for weeks together to display their talent. After a great start to the New Year, it’s time for students to start preparing for their examinations. Students of 12th class will be writing their final exams and will be leaving our school with fond memories. We wish them all the best and our confident that they will make us proud with their achievements. The next term will be commencing from 16th June 2018, with a bang dedication towards academics!
